This organization was founded by a faith based group that were looking for a way to help the home-bound elderly and disabled people remain in their homes with independence and dignity.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Meals On Wheels provides nutritious meals that meet U.S. Government nutrient targets for adults. Meals are prepared fresh daily in our central kitchen and delivered to distribution sites throughout Tarrant County. From there, volunteers collect meals and deliver them directly to the homes of frail elderly and disabled individuals who are home-bound and do not have a reliable source of assistance.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main office houses the central kitchen, volunteer training and coordination center, administrative offices and the Haltom City distribution site. We maintain 44 additional distribution sites, primarily located in churches and community facilities, throughout the county. Each Monday-Friday volunteers staff 250 delivery routes from these locations.

Meals On Wheels is located on State Highway 121 between Carson and Haltom Road. The facility is located at 5740 Airport Freeway, on the south side of the freeway, on the frontage road, behind Tim Hogan's flooring store.
