How long have you been in business?
I have ridden, shown and trained horses all my life. I managed another stable in White Settlement before moving here over 15 years ago. This is a private family owned stable. It can house up to 26 horses.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer full/partial care boarding. I also train and give lessons. I have provided services from the novice to advanced horse and rider.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always loved horses. I raised my children around all types of animals but horses were the primary choice. We trained all our horses for trail, endurance, performance and rodeo. I moved to Texas over 25 years ago and continued to surround myself with horses. I was a Deputy Sheriff for Tarrant county and I participated in the Posse. We did search and rescue also performances. I always wanted a stable with the ability to provide training and lessons for others. So they could know the love of horses like I do.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My primary concern is to provide a clean, secure, safe environment for my boarders and their horses. I have two arenas. One is covered with open sides for all weather usage. Also a circuluar arena for riders who prefer the open air. My rates are very reasonable for all the extras provided. I am located within a short distance from Lake Worth and I'm bordered with a wooded trail.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
This is a small family owned stable with no desire to expand. Expanding would take away from the homey type setting that we enjoy.
