How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started off at a Texaco Full service station on Camp Bowie until they decided to make a grocery store out of the shop, then on to Sears Auto Center at Ridgmar mall for the next 10 years, then on to Mac Churchill Acura in Fort Worth, I worked my way up to Acura Master Technician, then I was transferred to Mac Churchill Honda (Now Frank Kent Honda) to be the Service Manager. I saved for what seems like forever until I had enough to open my own shop.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We only employee Real Certified Mechanics with at least 10 years of Honda or Acura Dealership experience. We use Original parts and stand behind all repairs for 18 months or 18,000 miles (The Dealers offer 12 months/12,000 miles) We also have service loaner cars avaliable. Personal Service without compromise, thats our motto
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
2 Locations =, the second is dedicated to the same values and only services Lexus, Toyota & Scion vehicles. 4 Blocks away from Dealer Alternative Lexutech.com
Provide detailed directions to your location
From I-30 Exit at University Drive North, drive for 2 miles until you get to the intersection of University & White Settlement Rd Turn Right (east) then 4 blocks on the right at the first red light you come to at White Settlement Rd & Carroll St. (Our garage doors face Carroll Street so it can be a little confusing.) Usually you will see several Honda & Acura vehicles in front of our building.
