Architectural: Scope of services include: architectural services, expert witness and litigation support, Registered Accessibility Specialist (TAS and ADA services) and surveys of existing buildings and retail spaces. The building types include but not limited to: commercial, retail, educational, healthcare, institutional, industrial facilities, municipal buildings, and single user structures and residential (single and multi-family).
ADA, ANSI A 117.1 and TAS: Accessibility design and building adaptation. Analysis of buildings and sites for compliance with ADA, ANSI 117.1 and TAS. Texas Accessibility Standards plan reviews and inspections.
Forensic Architecture: Technical analysis of architectural services: pre-construction services, facility programming, building design, bidding services, construction documents, construction administration and post-construction services. Analysis of the architect’s standard of care and errors and omissions. The building’s compliance with building codes, ordinances and industry standards. Analysis of construction defects, cause and origin of construction defects, failure analysis (water intrusion and roofing failures). Expert witness and litigation support.
