The Vision of The Church at Philadelphia is to become a Five Star Church that leads in meeting the needs of the people. The following summarizes the vision of the House.
We are committed to Building Relationships
We clearly understand that we are related to one another for a specific and special purpose. Our number one reason for coming to the house of God is not just to get a Word from God, but to strengthen the family that he connected us to (Hebrews 10:25)
We are committed to being a Ministry of Reconciliation
It is clearly understood that we are all being developed by our loving Father Jesus Christ. We appreciate Him reconciling us by sending His son. So we assume the responsibilities of the ministry of reconciliation that He has placed us in (2 Corinthians 5:18)
We are committed to be a ministry that operates in Integrity
Our Father does everything decent and in order. We are challenged in all that we do to do it decently and in order (1Corinthians 14:40). We endeavor to be a ministry of good character, honesty, quality, completeness and unity.
We are committed to make Disciples
One of our major goals is to make sure that we move people from membership to discipleship. We strive to compel all members of the body of Christ and our local assembly, to study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing he word of truth.
We are committed to Global Ministry
We, as believers, are challenged to positively effect our homes, neighborhoods, our marketplace and ultimately the uttermost parts of the world (Acts 1:8). Our mandate is to raise the awareness of our family to ensure that we are well informed, balanced and appreciative for what our Lord has done for us as a people.
Habakkuk 2:2 challenges us to “Write The Vision and Make It Plain Upon Tables, That He May Run That Readeth It”. A Plain Vision is one, which is written in such a way that it can be easily understood and intelligently articulated.
