If you are experiencing challenges which are significant enough to warrant careful considerations, then perhaps I can help you make sense of the issues you have before you. My approach is very direct as I believe change only comes about with agitation (whether mild or strong). I have been in private practice for over ten years and appreciate the opportunities I have had to help people move towards a greater sense of peace in their lives. How long have you been in business?
We have provided professional counseling and psychological services for over ten years as a group. However, the combined experiences of the clinicians on staff spans over three decades.
What is your primary product or service?

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the Executive Director of Positive Influences, I sought to create a diverse practice which could provide practical and professional services for persons in need. However, as a counselor, I knew I wanted what my line of work would be by the time I reached high school.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As with most counselors, we want to help. Positive Influences is different because we seek to reach those who would not ordinarily seek professional services. We want people to know that healthy is good and just as they have an annual physical, occasionally - a mental health check is warranted too. We ease the counseling process, as much as possible, and set about work to help people improve their quality of life.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have three locations: Ft. Worth (downtown) 100 E. 15th St. Suite 340 Ft. Worth, TX 76102 Phone: 817-332-2211 Dallas 8828 N. Stemmons Frwy. #225 Dallas, TX 75247 Phone: 469-227-7847 Waxahachie 101 Executive Ct. #400A Waxahachie, TX 75165 Phone: 972-923-9214

The Ft. Worth location is settled into the MidSouth Bank Building on the corner of Lancaster and Commerce at the edge of downtown. The Dallas office is located in the Comerica Bank Building off I-35 between Empire Central and Regal Row. The Waxahachie office is located off Highway 287 and FM 813/Brown Blvd.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept most insurance/third party payors; private pay; and some Medicaid programs. We are also affiliated with many EAP companies.
Which areas do you service?
We service Dallas, Tarrant, and Johnson counties.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Saturday with appointments offered in evenings when scheduled.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I remembered how you help me get through that time!
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Mark 9:24 “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Oftentimes, people have struggled with their hardships for so long, that they don't believe change is possible. It is possible. Is it a choice.
