How long have you been in business?
I am a master of guitar and have been playing and teaching professionally for over 40 years.
What is your primary product or service?
My primary service is teaching folks ages 10 and upward how to read music for guitar and bass, and to play in the genres of rock, folk, country and blues. This involves understanding how the guitar works and all aspects of playing rhythm and lead guitar as well as bass lines.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As I realized I was tired of playing on stage and close to retirement, I also realized there is a need for competent music teachers to guide the next generation of guitar players, so I built my studio and I planted my shingle in the front. We are open and ready for business!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One aspect of how I am different is that where most teachers charge about $35 for a private class of instruction, I only charge $20 for a full hour. I really want to reach as many folks as want to learn my instrument of choice. I am a darned fine teacher too, and patient as well.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location and I have no desire to expand.
