National Day of Prayer is the FIRST THURSDAY IN MAY each year.
National Day of Prayer Tarrant County Coordinates across the Tarrant County area, works to bring the community together throughout the year, ministers to the needs of the community, it's leaders, churches, ministries and citizens. National Day of Prayer received Resolutions and Proclamations each year from the President, Mayors, County Judges, City Mayors across the USA calling the people of this nation together to pray. Prayer events are sponsored and held throughout the year in addition to the National Day of Prayer.
An Adopt A Leader Program is in place to connect people of prayer with community leaders, pastors, teachers, business people and provide a prayer covering for those who are adopted by people of prayer. They send prayers, scriptures, encouragements and small tokens of appreciation through the year. The goal is to have a banquet each year bringing the people who are adopted together with the person who has adopted them and discuss how the power of prayer has changed each of them and been a blessing to their lives.
