THUMBTECHS, formerly known as GFIT named after our President & CEO, George Fassett, began its operation in 1995.
What is your primary product or service?
Managed I.T. Services Network Infrastructure Technology Consultants Cloud Integration
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, George Fassett gained experience in retail and electronics working through the ranks of RadioShack, from a part time sales person, to the rare RadioShack title of Computer Specialist, to Assistant Manager, and Store Manager. Fassett then went on to work as a student in the IT center at his undergraduate school, Texas Christian University (TCU), which not only gave him experience with enterprise level IT environments, but also exposed him to many of the people that either became his customers or referred others to him.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We pride ourselves on offering complete managed I.T. solutions under one roof. We provide remote helpdesk, server monitoring, cloud services, backups, antivirus solutions, on-site assistance, hardware, software and technology consulting - powered by a custom-built case management system outlining an inventory of our involvement with each issue, an index of their equipment/software licensing, and an asset management dashboard.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Right now our only office is located on 201 South Main Street - Fort Worth, TX 76104
